These two SUVs do look noticeably different on the exterior. However, they both sport some of the same equipment, including LED headlights and 17-inch wheels in the base trim. The top trims for both have 19-inch wheels. Interior details are similar, too, with standard floor mats, power windows, and remote keyless entry. However, the Equinox has remote engine start as a standard feature, while the Terrain does not. The Terrain adds some premium accents inside, such as leatherette door trim and automatic climate control. If you move up to the Denali trim, additional interior upgrades separate the two models.
