Improved highway stability, better outward visibility, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring (both optional) augment the model’s performance in the safety category.
Mitsubishi also earns high marks for its warranty offers, widely considered among the best in the crossover SUV market (that’s saying something given Honda’s and Kia’s warranties). The Outlander Sport’s limited warranty is good for five years or 60,000 miles, while the powertrain warranty covers ten years or 100,000 miles.
